Most hotels are bike-friendly and allow bikes in the room.
During the event:
Bikes can be stored near the start area at your own responsibility.
The event does not provide overnight bike storage.

Yes. Each rider may store:
One small bag up to 10 L
One folded cardboard bike box
This is included in your entry.
Bike travel bags or additional bags require a 20 € storage add-on.
If you arrive with a bike bag or additional bag and haven’t purchased the add-on, the fee will be charged on site.Please do not leave valuables such as wallets, money, electronics, documents, or cameras.
Storage is supervised but not insured, and the organizer cannot be held responsible for loss or theft. -
Most nearby cities have some small shops/mechanics, which you can look up on, google maps, by typing ‘kolesarska trgovina‘.
Bring your own spares, as shops may not stock every gravel tyre.

Green Border Gravel is self-supported, but you can resupply at:Petrol stations
Small village stores
Bars & cafés
Public water taps (common in villages)
Careful, as resupplies are very limited.
Remote forest segments may have 60–90 minutes without services, so plan accordingly.

Coverage is generally good in Slovenia, but:
Expect full coverage in towns and villages
Expect loss of signal in deeper forest sections
MapProgress will "catch up" once signal returns

For this route:
45–50 mm gravel tyres recommended
40 mm if you prefer speed and are comfortable on rough surfaces
MTB is allowed but slower

Yes — English is widely spoken, especially among younger people and in towns and tourist areas. In smaller villages along the route, you might find fewer English speakers, but you can usually manage easily with a friendly approach and a few basic Slovenian phrases.
